Ben was born and raised in Colorado with a love for the outdoors and aviation. Upon finishing high school, Ben moved to Lake Tahoe where he worked as a snowboard instructor and began his flight training. During the summer of 2020, he moved to Atlanta to finish his flight training with the goal of pursuing a career in aviation in mind. Upon completing his training, Ben worked as a civilian contractor with the USNA giving instruction to Midshipmen until joining the Aero Atlanta Flight Center team.

Ben loves working with his clients and is very driven to see them reach their aviation dreams, whether it be for business or the sheer joy of flying. When Ben isn’t flying, he likes to spend his time reading classic literature, hiking, and practicing his Jiu Jitsu skills.

Before moving to Acworth GA, Matt spent the early years of his childhood growing up in northern Virginia. Having been raised in an aviation household, he caught the flying bug early on from his father who is a Southwest Airlines Captain, and from his grandmother who was a Delta Airlines Flight Attendant. After taking a discovery flight at 12 years old, Matt was hooked and decided to pursue a career in aviation. During his senior year of high school, he obtained his private pilot certificate before heading to Liberty University. During his time at Liberty, he completed the rest of his flight training all the way up to commercial multi-engine. He graduated in December of 2022 with a B.S in Aeronautics with a Commercial – Corporate cognate. Shortly after graduating, he finished the last part of his training with Aero Atlanta Flight Center becoming a flight instructor.

 

Not only did Matt gain a love for flying from his father, but he also gained a passion for teaching people from his mother, who was a teacher. He is thrilled to combine his two interests into one role as a flight instructor with AAFC. When Matt is not flying, he enjoys spending time at the gym or playing golf. As a fan of the Atlanta Braves, he also enjoys attending games when he gets the opportunity.

Daniel believes air travel should be uplifting – not a chore. A native of Athens, Tennessee, his interest in aviation started early, courtesy of an uncle who was a state patrol helicopter pilot. This inspiration led Daniel to take his first flight lesson at the young age of 13. Daniel immediately knew that aviation would someday be his career.

At 19, Daniel enlisted in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman to serve his country. After leaving the service, Daniel enrolled at Embry-Riddle University, graduating with a degree in
Aeronautical Sciences. Following graduation, Daniel began his professional career with Lockheed Martin as a software engineer working on the world’s most advanced fighter, the F-22 Raptor.

During this time, Daniel kept his flying interest alive through flight instructing part-time with Aero Atlanta at McCollum Airport. Everything slowly began to come together, where opportunity met with an aviation-minded Daniel. Taking a massive leap of faith, Daniel purchased Aero Atlanta in 2000 and made the flight training business his full-time job. Aero Atlanta Flight Center was the culmination of his dream. Starting with three aircraft, Aero Atlanta became the first Certified Cirrus Training Center in the nation.

In 2013 Daniel opened an AAFC location at Dekalb-Peachtree Airport and purchased a pilot supply company to provide essential supplies to aircraft owners and operators. In 2017, AAFC welcomed a Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet to their fleet, and Daniel was one of the first pilots other than Cirrus employees to be type rated in the SF50, which won the prestigious Collier Trophy for 2018.

In addition to being president and owner of Aero Atlanta, Daniel is an aircraft broker for Lone Mountain Aircraft, specializing in the purchase and resale of Cirrus aircraft.

Daniel and his wife Carol have a son Britton, who is developing his own fascination with
aviation.

Harrison was born and raised in Alpharetta, GA and attended Milton High School. He became interested in aviation at age five after taking a short flight with his uncle. It was this experience that ignited Harrison’s passion for aviation, giving him a vision for his future at a young age. At age sixteen, he got a job at Aero Atlanta Flight Center as a Flight Services Dispatcher at PDK. Harrison went on to earn his Private Pilot’s Certificate, and nine months later, earned his Instrument Rating with AAFC. Currently, Harrison is a student at Kennesaw State University, working to earn his bachelor’s degree in management with a focus in finance. He is now the Flight Services Manager and works the front desk weekly. He continues his flight training at AAFC, working to earn his Commercial Pilot’s Certificate and his CFI/CFII and plans to flight instruct at Aero Atlanta Flight Center while working to earn his MBA.

Harrison has a passion for helping young aviators learn to fly and creating an outlet for them to become pilots. He loves teaching people in any capacity, creating processes to help others succeed, and he looks forward to flight instructing at AAFC in the years to come. When he’s not flying, working, or at school, Harrison loves practicing guitar, working out, and playing basketball with his friends.

An Atlanta native, Kelby Church joined the Aero Atlanta team in 2016 as a Client Dispatch Representative.

Ben grew up in Northport, Alabama where he was the captain of his high school football team and President of his senior class at Tuscaloosa County High School.  He has an A&P certification along with an Aviation Maintenance degree from Liberty University.  He is passionate about mission aviation and has a deep desire to one day make a meaningful impact on remote locations around the globe through his skills as a pilot.

Beyond aviation, he enjoys spending time with his family.  He has been married to his wife Catherine for four years, and together they have their hands full raising their young daughter Heidi. When Ben’s not flying, he spends his time outdoors – hunting, fishing, and enjoying football games.

John grew up in Prattville, Alabama and lived there until he enlisted in the Alabama Air National Guard as an intelligence analyst. John’s passion for aviation was ignited by working day to day supporting F-16 pilots in the 187th Fighter Wing. He went on to continue his aviation journey by getting his Private Pilot Certificate while he attended Auburn University. After John finished his degree in Aviation Management at Auburn, he followed his wife to Houston, Texas where he completed his flight training through ATP flight school. He gained instruction experience there before moving to Aero Atlanta Flight Center.

 

John has had many people along his aviation career help him succeed, and loves to work with others on their goals in order to reach success! John comes from a family of 10 siblings, so his favorite things include people. When he is not flying, John enjoys college football, golfing, spending time with his wife, and basically anything outdoors.

Avery was born and raised in Woodstock, GA and is currently attending Etowah High School. Avery’s passion for flying came when he watched a documentary on F-14 pilots called “Speed and Angels.” From that moment on, the match was lit and his passion for aviation grew. As he grew older, he made a friend who would later connect him with getting a job at AAFC. Eager to get in the door of aviation, he took the opportunity to apply. Currently, Avery is a student pilot and is a Flight Service Dispatcher for AAFC at KRYY. He loves airshows, family, kayaking, and of course, flying.

Anelle was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, lived in Florida for ten years, and has been living in Georgia since 2019. She is currently studying at Kennesaw State University as an Integrated Health Sciences Major. While she has worked with children for the last five years, her interest in aviation was sparked because of her younger brother, who is a pilot and flight instructor. She is new to the aviation world and hopes to earn her Private Pilot Certificate one day. Since she can remember, she has always loved helping others and is eager to serve in the aviation community and at AAFC.

 

When not at work or school, she can be found at the gym working on her fitness goals, enjoying rooftop restaurants, or simply lounging around the house. She values family and friends deeply and will always find time to hang out with them. Traveling has been a big part of her life. One of her favorite places that she has visited is Sweden and she is always looking for the next place to explore.

Flying has been a part of Gabrielle’s world since age three when she went on her first flight with her uncle, a retired Navy pilot and Fedex Captain. From that point forward, aviation ran strong in her blood. She worked at her local airport for five years as a Customer Service Representative and earned her Private Pilot Certificate. After graduating from Thomas Edison State University with her degree in Piano Performance, Gabrielle decided to pursue the rest of her ratings and certificates out of her love for aviation. She became a CFI in 2016 and worked for Liberty University as an instructor and Check Airman for four years. While there, she earned her Multi-Commercial, MEI, and Gold Seal.

Being hired by Aero Atlanta Flight Center during the early days of the Pandemic was one of the few highlights of 2020 for Gabrielle. This past spring, she was promoted to Manager of Flight Training and she is eager to grow as an instructor and aviation professional, all while helping individuals reach their aviation goals and dreams. In September, she earned her CSIP (Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot) in order to further her expertise on Cirrus Aircraft and training. When not flying airplanes, Gabrielle enjoys exploring Georgia with her best pal and furry friend, Missie.

Emily took her first general aviation flight with a family friend in 2020 and was enamored by the views at altitude, as well as the freedom of flight. She began flight training shortly after graduating from Georgia Tech with a degree in Business Administration / Finance, thinking she would take it on as a fun challenge and hobby. After a few months, she embraced her love for aviation and committed to training through her CFI/CFII and multi-engine ratings while continuing to work as a consultant within the asset management space at Accenture. She made the leap into full-time instruction at the beginning of 2023. As an instructor, Emily is passionate about introducing others to flight and partnering with students to achieve their goals throughout all stages of their aviation journey. She lives for the lightbulb moment when procedures and skills click for students, and is thrilled to share aviation with others.

 

Outside of instructing, you can find Emily adventuring around Atlanta with friends, staring at clouds, organizing her Google Calendar, or sitting in front of the shark tank at the aquarium.

Josey grew up in a small, southwest Georgia town before moving to the Atlanta area in 2018. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Georgia Southwestern State University. While trying to find her path in life, she fell into an FBO job with the help of a friend and former co-worker. After developing an interest in the aviation industry, she applied for an opening at Aero Atlanta Flight Center and the rest is history! Josey is a very family-oriented person, so finding a home in AAFC was the highlight of 2020. In her free time, Josey enjoys going to visit her family, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Salem, and their cat, Willow.

Austin was born and raised in Cumming, GA. He found his passion for aviation from his father, as he was an F-15 aircraft mechanic in the Air Force. He started his flight training in high school and continued his training at Purdue University. He went on to acquire his Private, Instrument, Commercial Single & Multi-engine, and CFI certificates and ratings. He taught other aviation students at Purdue in his last semester. After college, Austin continued to grow his passion for aviation by acquiring his CFII and flight instructing right here at Aero Atlanta Flight Center.

When Austin is not flying, he likes the outdoors, reading, playing basketball, exercising, and spending time with his dog.

James was born and raised in Augusta, GA and lived there until attending college at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. He discovered his passion for aviation at a very young age when his family was flying on Delta Airlines for vacation one summer. The pilots allowed him to come up front and sit in the captain’s seat, and the rest was history! James went on to enroll in flight school after college and acquired his Private, Instrument, Commercial Single & Multi-engine, CFI and CFII certificates and ratings.

James loves to share his passion for airplanes and aviation with others and believes that AAFC is a great place to do just that! When he is not flying, he loves to spend time with his wife and one year old daughter playing outside, swimming in the pool, going on walks, and going to the beach.

Alex was the first of his family to be born and raised east of the Mississippi, growing up in Marietta, Georgia. As a kid, Alex’s father would tell bed time stories of bush flying and aerobatics back in western Colorado. Despite his dream of flying, he followed his passion for music for the first decade of his adult life, touring and recording as a singer-songwriter, as well as competing on the TV show, “The Voice”. The year 2020 abruptly halted his music career, prompting him pivot and continue the family tradition of aviation, earning his CFI, CFII, and MEI in 2022.

Alex has a love for learning and sharing his many passions with others. When he isn’t flying, he‘s probably either hiking with his wife and dog, building guitars, woodworking, or back on stage.

Aaron was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan before moving to Atlanta at age thirteen. From an early age, Aaron was interested in aviation, thanks to his dad, who was also an avid aviation museum and airshow traveler. In 2016, he obtained his Private Pilot Certificate while doing dual enrollment and working full time. In 2020, he received his bachelor’s degree in aviation science while completing the remainder of his flight training at the same time. After graduation, he instructed at Middle Georgia State University, The Flight School of Gwinnett, and finally landed at Aero Atlanta Flight Center.

His passion for science and aircraft is what got him into aviation, and seeing his clients achieve their dreams through flight keeps his love for instructing strong. When he is not flying, he loves to workout, play basketball, and spend time with friends and family.

Glenn is a native of Atlanta and grew up fascinated with airplanes and helicopters. After a 24-year career in the U.S. Air Force, 20 of those as a combat photographer, he also documented air-to-air/air-to-ground munitions testing while flying backseat from T-38, F-4, F-15, and F-16 aircraft. After retiring, Glenn came back to Atlanta and earned his Private Pilot Certificate for Rotorcraft-Helicopter, and then his add-on rating for Airplane. He joined the team at Aero Atlanta Flight Center and has been a valuable member making sure our aircraft are in top notch shape for our training and rental fleet.

Grant grew up in Marietta, Georgia and is a 2nd generation pilot to a retired United Airlines Captain. Grant spent his early 20’s working in Yellowstone National Park, as well as singing and playing guitar in a band in Los Angeles, California. Around the age of 25, Grant took an interest in aviation and moved back to Atlanta to pursue his newfound passion. Grant now has his CFI, CFII, and multi-engine rating and loves introducing people to the wonderful world of general aviation.

He enjoys playing music regularly, discovering new areas to hike, as well as exploring both music and film culture.

Naomi was born in Layton, Utah and grew up all across North America. As an Air Force child, she experienced influence from the world of aviation. However, she only came to realize her dream of becoming a pilot in her last year of high school. Her passion for travel led her to take her first flight lesson in her hometown of Rome, GA in 2019. Eventually, she finished her Private Pilot Certificate at Aero Atlanta. After pursuing a degree at Auburn University, and realizing just how much she missed being a part of the Aero Atlanta family, she applied to become a Client Service Manager. She is currently finishing her Commercial Certificate with the hopes of becoming an instructor.

 

Before the wings of a Cessna stole her heart, Naomi wanted a degree in Art. As a result, she has quite a few varied passions. She loves to play the violin, paint, draw, take photos, ski, play soccer, cook, and watch classic tv comedies. More importantly, Naomi has a passion for serving the people around her in any way she can. She cannot wait to see everyone’s smiling faces as they come to know the very love of aviation she has come to know herself.

Jason’s interest in aviation started at a young age and his first flight in an aircraft (a Boeing 727, no less) only solidified this. An introductory flight lesson for his 16th birthday from his parents confirmed his desire for a career in aviation and brought him to Aero Atlanta Flight Center. Jason completed his Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI & CFII with AAFC throughout high school and college. After completing a Business degree in Management at Kennesaw State University, Jason began instructing at AAFC full time. After 4 years of instructing, Jason was hired by ExpressJet Airlines flying CRJ aircraft and in 2018 achieved his ultimate goal of being hired by Delta Air Lines.

Despite a busy flying schedule, Jason still works with Aero Atlanta managing customer and aircraft accounts as well as operations at our pilot shop, Pilot Stuff. The aviation community of AAFC continues to inspire him to share his love for flying and help others realize their dreams through flight. A native of Atlanta, Jason enjoys mountain biking, reading books about spies or volcanoes, and traveling to Slovenia with his wife Špela and daughter, Ina.

Hailing from Roswell, Georgia, Jean’s call to flight came during childhood with her admiration for her father, a former Air Force and Delta Air Lines captain. She studied History and Education at Georgia State University, pursuing her Private Pilot Certificate at none other than Aero Atlanta Flight Center following her graduation. As she completed her flight training, she worked in other branches of the aviation tree at an FBO and as a Flight Attendant for Delta Air Lines.

When Jean is not flying, she cares for her infant son, Thomas, and loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys gaming and nature, especially hiking trails. Her favorite airplane is a Conwing L-16. Jean is so happy to have found a career that joins her passion for aviation and education, especially at AAFC. It is not only like a second home to her (she even met her husband there!), but she also knows from personal experience that it is truly the best flight school.

Mitchell grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. His love for aviation began on his first airline flight at the age of 8 years old. At 16, Mitchell met his mentor, a Delta Captain, and he helped shaped his burning desire to pursue aviation professionally. Mitchell attended Bowling Green State University with a degree in Flight Technology and completed all his flight training at Bowling Green Flight Center. During his training, he worked for Flight Services/Dispatch to gain a better understanding of airport operations. In 2019, Mitchell started working as a CFI and Check Airman at the University, eventually earning his CFII and MEI. Mitchell has a deep passion for helping people achieve their goals. Success is measured by the positive impact you make on others. His goal is to help mentor young aviators on their journey just like his mentor did for him.

 During his downtime, Mitchell loves to spend time with his fiancée, Maddie, and his 2-year-old golden retriever Lyla. He enjoys working out, visiting family, reading, skiing, playing sports, and going on hikes with his dog to hopefully help her burn off some of that energy! Mitchell moved to Atlanta in 2022. and, being new to Atlanta, Mitchell also loves any recommendations of fun things to do around the city.

Chris grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia and is a 4th generation pilot to a WWII fight instructor. As a kid, his dad and grandfather shared their passion of flying gliders and traveling to air shows around the country. He played golf at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS and after graduation moved to Houston, TX for an investment sales role at Invesco. After relocating back to Atlanta and several years of budgeting he was able to fund his lifelong dream of becoming a pilot. He now holds a CFI, CFII, and multi engine rating and is motivated by helping people find their purpose in general aviation.

He is recently married and enjoys playing competitive tennis, teaching his wife how to play golf, tasting new wines, and exploring restaurants in the Atlanta area.

Chad was introduced to flying through a family friend at age ten and was quickly hooked. Chad soloed on his sixteenth birthday and received his private on his seventeenth birthday. At eighteen, a bad experience with a flight instructor caused him to quit flying for four years. After being encouraged by a friend to get back into flying, he went back and completed the rest of his certificates and ratings. Although he wishes this poor experience had never happened, it is a big part of why he is so passionate about giving others the best flight training experience possible. Chad has been instructing with Aero Atlanta since the beginning of 2020 and Chad is a Platinum CSIP with over 1,000 hours of instruction given in the Cirrus. He stepped into his role as the Director of Flight Operations in January of 2022. Chad is passionate about this role because he is passionate about helping others achieve their goals in aviation.

Chad is married with two children and has a Business Management degree from Kennesaw State University. Outside of his flying, he has toured as a musician, spends time trying to manage his handicap on the golf course, and enjoys getting to know the people around him.

Born in Washington, D.C., Rodney attended Arlington County Public Schools, graduating from Washington-Lee High School in 1960. After high school, Rodney attended Virginia Tech where he enrolled in Air Force ROTC. He flew his initial solo flight in a Piper Super Cub in 1963 and obtained a Private Pilot’s Certificate in 1964. After four years as a member of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets (Cadet Captain), Rodney graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. After Pilot Instructor Training at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Rodney spent the next four years at Craig teaching flying in the T-37. While in the Air Force, Rodney obtained his Certified Flight Instructor’s rating at Montgomery Aviation. When his active duty commitment was complete, he and his wife, Donna, moved from Selma to Atlanta where Rodney began a career flying for Delta Air Lines where he flew “the eight,” “the nine,” “the eighty-eight,” “the one-hundred,” “the seven-two,” “the seven-five,” “the seven-six,” and “the ten-eleven.”

 

Since retiring from the Air Force (Lt. Colonel) with 23 years of service and from Delta (Captain) with 32 years of service, Rodney continues to enjoy instructing in the general aviation arena. He says there’s just nothing better than flying a general aviation aircraft around the southeastern United States. Rodney’s total flying time (Air Force, Airline, and General Aviation) is 28,500 hours.

James was born in NYC, and was raised in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He was introduced to aviation at an early age as his father is also a pilot. He discovered his passion for aviation during high-school when he flew a C-172 from the Dominican Republic to Florida and back. He conducted his Private Pilot training in the Dominican Republic and decided to pursue aviation as a career. He attended Liberty University where he completed his Instrument Rating, Commercial Certificate, and Flight Instructor training. He graduated from the honors program with a double major in Aeronautics & Aviation Administration and a minor in Business. James now works at Aero Atlanta as a Flight Instructor and looks forward to continuing his career as a flight instructor, while pursuing additional certificates and ratings as well as a master’s degree in aviation management.

James loves people! He believes teaching others to fly is his way to give back to the aviation community and has a strong desire to help people meet their goals and reach their dreams in aviation. He is always eager to learn new things and believes every person has something worth learning from. Whenever he is not in an aviation environment, he enjoys playing his guitar, going hiking, and playing sports.

Zac was born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in Newnan, Georgia. After attending Kennesaw State University, Zac moved to Bozeman, Montana to enjoy God’s country for a couple years. After that, Zac ended back in Kennesaw, where he completed his flight training through ATP flight school and achieved every rating possible for single-engine and multi-engine land airplanes to include CFI, CFII and MEI.

Zac’s great grandfather was one of the original pilots hired to Delta in the 1930’s. His grandfather and great uncle followed in his footsteps, both retiring from Delta in the 90’s. His father is currently a 767-300 captain at Delta and you may be able to guess where his aspirations lie for his future. In his free time, Zac enjoys playing soccer and disc golf with his identical twin brother as well as throwing the ball for hours on end for his yellow lab, River.

Matt joined the AAFC family in February of 2022 and is from South Carolina, near the greater Charlotte area. Matt inherited the flying ‘bug’ from his father, who is a Captain with PSA Airlines. Matt has always loved airplanes and purposed to pursue a flying career at a young age. He began his flight training at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and upon completion, worked as a flight instructor there for a year and a half. He then moved to Atlanta, to broaden his teaching experience with Aero Atlanta Flight Center.

When not instructing, Matt enjoys building and flying radio-controlled airplanes. Some of his other hobbies include hiking and camping, going for a drive on a nice afternoon, and travelling to any town with a noteworthy coffee shop. Matt also has a seaplane rating, and daydreams about owning a floatplane one day!

Born and raised in Rome, GA, Shehan discovered his love for aviation when he took his first flight at the age of seven during a family trip to Houston riding on an AirTran Boeing 717. His love later grew into an obsession, always looking at the sky, knowing that one day he would one day be in the cockpit. Shortly after graduating from Rome High School, Shehan took his first discovery flight at Aero Atlanta in August of 2021. After achieving his Private Pilot Certificate, he is currently working on his instrument rating and aspires to continue training until receiving his CFI/CFII. In the meantime, he joins the Aero Atlanta team working as one of our Flight Services Members while pursuing an education at Kennesaw State University.

 

Shehan enjoys traveling, rollerblading, skiing, swimming, and as many do at Aero Atlanta, he loves a good cup of coffee – which is why he spends plenty of his time at local coffee shops, one of his favorites being Swift and Finch.

Tony Vaicius has been associated with Aero Atlanta since 2007, first as a renter pilot, then as a CFI/CFII after retiring from Lockheed Martin in 2016. At Lockheed Martin Tony worked on the C-5, F-22, and C-130J Programs. Prior to Lockheed Martin, Tony had a successful career in the US Navy, accumulating over 3500 hours as a Flight Engineer on the P-3 Orion aircraft. In addition to his CFI/CFII ratings, Tony holds FAA certification as an Airframe/Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) and Turboprop Flight Engineer. Tony lives in Canton, Georgia with his wife Diane and loves sharing his passion for aviation with his four grandkids. Nothing gives Tony greater satisfaction than greeting a student pilot after their first solo or seeing them proudly display their pilot certificate after a check-ride.

Raised in Pennsylvania, Mike graduated from Penn State University and moved to Atlanta to earn an M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Georgia State, where he also taught English Composition. He took his first flight lesson with Aero Atlanta Flight Center in a Cessna 152 in 2000 and completed CFI, CFII, and MEI certification in 2004. After instructing for two years with AAFC, Mike was hired at Atlantic Southeast Airlines, where he spent eight years as a First Officer and five years as a Captain operating the CRJ 200, 700, and 900. With nearly 9000 hours of airline experience, Mike returned to general aviation to reignite his passion for teaching and has since logged over 11,600 hours, including 8600 turbine hours and more than 1000 hours in Cirrus aircraft. A Gold Seal Flight Instructor, he has given more than 3000 hours of instruction in Cirrus, Cessna, Piper, and Beach aircraft.

Mike is also an avid reader and outdoorsman. He has camped, climbed, rafted, and backpacked through 130 National Parks and Monuments across the country with plans to see them all.

Bayley grew up in Calhoun, Georgia but has always had a love for seeing new places and meeting new people. For him, aviation was the perfect way to combine the two. After spending two years at the University of West Georgia, he decided to pursue flying and started working towards his Private Pilot Certificate in Rome, Georgia. He then moved to Tennessee and attended Middle Tennessee State University where he earned a degree in Professional Aeronautics. After receiving his degree, Bayley continued his flight training at ATP and obtained his CFI, CFII, and MEI.

 

Bayley is thrilled to be a part of the AAFC team and be able to form meaningful connections with aspiring pilots while helping them reach their goals. When he is not flying, Bayley spends time fishing, perfecting his golf game, and attending Falcons and Braves games. He loves being on the water and enjoys weekends on the lake or going on vacation to scuba dive in the Caribbean.

Nora Winkler was raised in Rockmart, Georgia. From an early age, she showed great interest in aviation. When traveling with family, the airport was always her favorite and most anticipated aspect of the trip. She has always loved things that can fly, whether it be birds, dragonflies, or creations out of her favorite Sci-Fi novels and movies. The opportunity to learn how to fly herself was one that could not be passed up. Nora earned her Private Pilot certificate while attending Kennesaw State University and her Instrument Rating while attending the University of Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art. After returning home from college, Nora earned her Commercial Pilot certificate and CFI with Aero Atlanta Flight Center. Nora believes that AAFC is an exceptional place to experience flight training and is thrilled that she has the opportunity to share the excitement of flight with others. 

 

When not flying, Nora can be found visiting Kennesaw Mountain, trying new restaurants with friends, or in her art studio. She enjoys reading, hanging out with her pets, playing games, and creating art.  Nora especially loves to paint landscapes inspired by her walks in nature and views from the sky.
