In 2003, Cirrus Design Corporation changed that notion. Introducing what the FAA has dubbed a Technically Advanced Aircraft, or TAA, Cirrus has given the general aviation community a dream come true. Aero Atlanta Flight Center has brought that dream to the Atlanta general aviation rental community. Aero Atlanta Flight Center is what is known as a Cirrus Designated Training Center. Training in a Technically Advanced aircraft such as the Cirrus requires special considerations and advanced instruction. Aero Atlanta Flight Center offers this training. Using the Insurance approved UND Aerospace Training course to current Cirrus Owners and to the Atlanta rental community. What does it take to rent our SR20 and SR22? Pilots desiring to rent the SR20 or SR22 are required to complete the Cirrus Transition Training Course. To rent the SR22, a pilot must have 300 hours TT, 10 in type, Instrument Rating and completion of the Cirrus Transition Training Course. Call if you have previous experience in Cirrus aircraft as training requirements can be waived. |
